Coffee Shoppe Talk was started in August of 2024 after a single post on a Facebook page to meet others for Bible study at a coffee shop BLEW UP! Within hours over 120 women messaged they were interested. Shocked and overwhelmed, something amazing was happening, but I didn’t know what to do—but God knew and opened every door.
These first five Bible study groups totaled 60 women in the fall of 2024, and they will always be special to me. Friendships developed between women from all walks of life, Biblical truths suddenly made sense, laughter filled the air, and joy spread like steam from a hot cup of coffee. Lives were lifted, connections made and Bible study “plants” began to grow in other spaces and communities.
In September of 2025, we had 102 women spread throughout nine Bible study groups led by multiple women who stepped out in faith to serve. Now as I look forward to 2026, I just relax and sit back, pour myself another cup of coffee, and marvel at how God’s timing—is always perfectly brewed!
